Configuring Your Email Domain

By default, patient notification emails are sent from a Juniper Health domain. You can configure your own email domain so emails come from your practice (e.g., notifications@yourpractice.com).

Why Configure a Custom Email Domain?

  • Professional appearance — Emails come from your brand, not Juniper's.
  • Better deliverability — Authenticated emails are less likely to be marked as spam.
  • Patient trust — Patients recognize emails from your domain.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Email Domain.
  2. Enter your email domain (e.g., yourpractice.com).
  3. Add the required DNS records at your domain registrar:
    • SPF record — Authorizes DailyStak to send emails on your behalf.
    • DKIM record — Adds a digital signature to verify email authenticity.
  4. Click Verify to confirm the records are set up correctly.

DNS Records

The specific DNS records you need to add are displayed on the settings page after you enter your domain. Copy them exactly as shown and add them at your domain registrar.

tip

If you already have SPF records for your domain, you will need to merge them rather than creating a duplicate. Contact your IT team or domain registrar for help.
