Creating a Protocol

A protocol is a personalized supplement plan for a specific patient. It includes the products, quantities, and dosing instructions you prescribe. Once created, you send a checkout link to the patient so they can complete their purchase.

Before You Begin​

You will need:

Creating a Protocol from Scratch​

  1. Navigate to the customer's detail page, or start a new protocol from the protocols list.
  2. Select the customer this protocol is for.
  3. Add products:
    • Search the catalog by name.
    • Set the quantity for each product.
    • Choose a dosing schedule: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or Sleep.
  4. Set the days supply — this determines how long the products last and when the subscription renews:
    • 30 days — Monthly delivery.
    • 60 days — Every two months.
    • 90 days — Quarterly delivery.
  5. Review the protocol summary.
  6. Click Create Protocol.

Creating a Protocol from a Template​

  1. Start a new protocol.
  2. Select a template to pre-fill products and dosing.
  3. Customize as needed for the patient.
  4. Click Create Protocol.

After creating a protocol, you need to send the patient a checkout link:

  1. A subscription in PENDING status is created.
  2. Send the checkout email to the patient (if Subscription checkout emails are enabled in Settings, this happens automatically).
  3. The patient receives an email with a link to review their protocol, enter their shipping address, and complete payment.

What Happens Next​

Once the patient checks out:

  • Their first order is created and sent to DailyStak for fulfillment.
  • A subscription is activated and will renew automatically based on the days supply.
  • You earn commission on each order.
